We are pleased to announce that we have ten new Kickstarter roles open in partnership with Leaders in Community. The Kickstart scheme is the government’s £2 billion fund to create high quality work placements aimed at young people who are on Universal Credit.

Based in Tower Hamlets, Spotlight is a youth service which supports young people to get creative, get active, get supported and get inspired. We create opportunities for young people age 11-19 (or up to 25 with SEND) to be empowered to be themselves and fulfil their potential.

We run high quality programmes from our flagship centre in Langdon Park in partnership with world class organisations, including Apple, Sony Music and Young V&A. 

This is your chance to develop as a professional in the creative industries as part of the Spotlight team.

Starting in January, these placements will run for six months at 25 hours a week . These are in-person roles based at our main centre in Langdon Park, E14 6GN.

Please note that due to the age range we work with we will only be accepting applicants age 20-24.

The roles we have available are:

• 1x Youth Volunteering and Empowerment Trainee

• 5x Creative Youth Worker

• 2x Event Technician Trainee

• 2x Communications Trainee
