He coaches the Limehouse Boxing team on Tuesday, Weds and Thursday each week from 5pm and delivers the DISE programme (Diploma in Sporting Excellence) to aspiring elite boxers during the day.

Indie is a creative explorer. His work spans acting, facilitation, music in various capacities, producing and now directing theatre.
He has been a member of Sounds like Chaos for 10 years, devising and performing in shows such as ‘Phenomena’, ‘Wow Everything Is Amazing!’ and ‘Fire in the Machine’.
During this time Indie has also performed with a number of collaborators including: The Science Museum, Lyric Hammersmith, Manchester International Festival, Unicorn Theatre, and more.

Jordan has a strong interest in Filmmaking, Photography & writing. Jordan loves to tell stories. Through performance he looks to explore the emotions that come with lived experience.

Sajjadur is heavily involved in charitable causes in the African continent. Most recently in Gambia and Kenya building schools, solar water wells and more! He has a passion for calisthenics and took part in national/international tournaments.

Shaiam was Deputy Young Mayor of Tower Hamlets, played in the West Ham Academy, won 5 consecutive borough rowing competitions and more! Shaiam’s interests include fashion and sports.

Volunteering at Spotlight

Spotlight holds volunteering at its heart. We offer opportunities for both adults and young people to get involved with the wide-ranging programme of activities, gain experience and have fun.

Adult Volunteering (18+)

By volunteering with us you will be supporting young people’s development and empowering the wider community. You will also be working alongside our large team consisting of staff, volunteers and incredible partners!

We champion the creative arts but we’re interested in all of your life skills and experiences. As long as you’re open to inspire and discover new things we’ll have plenty for you to try out, and we’ll support and work with you to make the most out of Spotlight.

Youth Volunteering & Empowerment (14 - 19)

Whether you want to go out into the local community to give back, or if you want to help run Spotlight and get your voice heard, pop along to the youth volunteering sessions to get in on the action.

We offer training, support and perks to our young volunteers, with a focus on supporting your own development by issuing certificates for the number of hours you volunteer and providing references for college, university and job applications.
