Who creates the future?

75 years ago, the Lansbury Estate was built as part of the Festival of Britain a bold vision for a better post-war society. It wasn’t just about buildings. It was about people, opportunity, wellbeing and hope.

Working alongside artists BRiGHTBLACK, you will time travel from 1951 to 2026 inside a video game recreation of the estate, uncovering the stories, ideas and ambitions of the time and exploring what it means to you today.

Using immersive technologies, game design, filmmaking and storytelling, you will create what comes next, building a playable vision of the Lansbury Estate that asks what a community designed for the next 75 years could feel like.

What should we cherish?
What should we change?
How does a hopeful future feel?

What you make will be shared as part of an interactive experience where audiences can step inside your world and experience the future through your eyes.
