Happy National Sexual Health Week! Find out how you can access free contraception, STI tests and confidential sexual health advice

This National Sexual Health week, we want to make sure you feel comfortable talking to a professional about all aspects of your health.

So, we’ve invited the amazing Vicky from Compass Safe East to do a tour of the Spotlight centres to meet you in an environment that is safe and comfortable.

During this tour, Vicky will be available to answer any questions you have and help you access free contraception, STI testing and general information. Enjoy a quiz? She’ll be popping into some of your favourite programmes to host quiz rounds testing your knowledge on sexual health.

THE TIMETABLE:

Monday: Bromley South Spotlight face-to-face 18:00-19:00

Tuesday: Bow East Spotlight face-to-face 17:30-17:50pm

Lansbury Spotlight 18:00 – 19:00 face-to-face

Wednesday: Bromley North Spotlight Zoom session 17:30

Friday: Mile End Spotlight Zoom sessions 16:30 -17:00

Bow East Spotlight face-to-face 17:30-18:30

Bromley South Spotlight Zoom session 19:00-20:00

Compass Safe East are a team of experienced health and wellbeing workers and nurses who work to improve the health and wellbeing of young people. They offer free confidential advice for everyone aged 19 and under (or up to 25 if you are in the care system, have special educational needs or a disability) about any questions or concerns you may have around sexual health.

They offer:

  •  Advice on healthy relationships
  • Free condoms
  • Free pregnancy testing
  • Advice and support with pregnancy
  • STI Testing including chlamydia and HIV testing (self-testing)
  • Free Emergency contraception (morning after pill)
  • Long acting reversible contraception (LARC) e.g. coil, injection, implant
  • Full range of STI tests and treatments
