Create Jobs are launching Creativity Works, the ultimate in creative and digital employment courses. There are 100 spaces for young Londoners to take part in four six-week intensive online training programmes, work experience, live briefs and masterclasses. Creative organisation Eastside running a series of film workshops and masterclasses with BFI Film Academy to give 16-19 year olds the opportunity to work with leading industry professionals and make their own short film. The application deadline is 21st September. Apply here
Eastside are also offering a mentoring scheme to ten young femxle filmmakers age 17-25. On this scheme, you will supported on your own independent film-making project by an industry professional and the opportunity to access a £200 production budget. Click here to find out more.
For 18-24-year-olds with big ideas, Eastside are running a scriptwriting competition. This is your chance to have your film idea, script, monologue or spoken word poem to be developed into a short film with the BFI Film Academy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a young writer to flex their creative muscles and have their work premiered. Apply here

Mama Youth Project are recruiting for a paid TV traineeship which will provide young people 18+ with the chance to train in a variety of television roles and gain practical experience making a broadcast TV show for Sky. Grow Wild are offering anyone aged 18-25 and living in Greater London is eligible to apply to receive £500 towards a creative project of their own design, and exhibit their work in iconic London landmark, 70 St Mary Axe.
YouMeUS.TV is an exciting digital entrepreneur and youth coaching programme for young people age 14-21 living in Waltham Forest, Newham, Hackney or Tower Hamlets. This year 80 talented young social action volunteers will be selected to work with a commercially successful digital social media agency to produce an online channel telling the real story of what it’s like to live and be part of London. Young people will also receive world class media production training and mentoring from industry experts including Apple, Google, YouTube, the UFF team and AniMortal Studios. The Prince’s Trust are advertising current job vacancies and offering one-to-one support to help young people find work during these difficult times. They are also working with WYK Digital to offer an 8 week programme to 18-30 year olds wanting to break into the digital marketing sector to offer expert training and support participants on completion of the programme in finding employment. Young people with great business ideas can apply for an award (up to £5000 grant, business support and living allowance!) from the UK Government through Young Innovators Awards 2020/21.Deadline is Wednesday 2 September 2020

Radio 1Xtra have launched their Inspire ME masterclass and mentorship series! Led by industry experts, these masterclasses will run fortnightly from Thurs 23 July and aims to arm young adults with life skills, insight and general knowledge often missed at school. At the end of this series they will launch a 12 month mentorship scheme to link up young people with successful black professionals from different industries. Check the list out here
