Hello there, everyone! It’s been a while since we’ve posted one of these, hasn’t it? We’ve had some changes in the team and that’s why you haven’t seen an opportunities board for some time. We’re back to normal now, and you will see these opportunities boards more consistently. This month we have a mix of job opportunities and development opportunities for you to take advantage of. HereUs (18-25)

Have an interest in producing public events? Looking to gain hands-on creative experience? Join East London-based creative practice HereUs as a young event co-producer.

In order to take part, you must be aged between 18-25 years, and either live, study or work in one of the four local boroughs of Hackney, Newham,  Tower Hamlets or Waltham Forest.

No previous experience is necessary, but a motivation to learn and commit to the programme is essential.

Learning Curve Group (19+)

Learning Curve Group are delivering Level 3 Technical Construction Skills Bootcamp as part of the government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee to help support individuals seeking to start a career within the growing construction industry. The 12-week free bootcamp seeks to offer young people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills introducing further roles within trade and technical positions within the construction industry with guaranteed job interviews offered by construction employers to support their journey into employment.

D&AD Shift x Google (18+)

If you’re over 18, looking to get into the creative industry and do not have a university degree, you can apply for D&AD Shift.

During the night school, you will cover key skills useful to a creative career in the world of advertising and design such as design, copywriting, art direction, strategy and production to name a few.

Through Shift, D&AD aims to create an accessible space for self-made talent to learn from and connect with the industry, establish a network and find job opportunities.
