We’re hiring for bank youth workers!

Bank Youth Workers

£13.22 per hour

We are currently looking to expand the existing team of Youth Workers at our creative arts centre, Spotlight.

As a bank worker you will join our pool of Bank Youth Workers who will, as and when the need arises, be invited to fulfil the below duties and responsibilities on behalf of Poplar HARCA.

Bank Youth Workers will be called upon to work with young people, alongside other staff, volunteers and partner organisations and across a broad range of facilities at the Spotlight Youth Centre, to ensure that young people are given the opportunity to aspire and work towards their aspirations.

When recruiting to these roles we are looking for people who enjoy working with young people on both a one-to-one and group basis and who are capable of bringing a fresh approach to youth work. The ability to inspire and engage young people and to strive to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and experience to recognise and achieve their full potential is also essential.

Please note that selected candidates will not be under any obligation to undertake bank work when invited to do so by Poplar HARCA. Similarly, there is no obligation for Poplar HARCA to offer bank work to those in the pool.

In order to fulfil the above, successful applicants will need to be able work flexibly (at the weekend or in the evening) as required.
